See you there!     Emergency Ascend To:  Dive Site Map  President's Message SCUBA Santa will be here soon, Saturday, Dec 6th, and the Board is working hard with Sport Chalet to make this a great event. Bring a toy and get your photo taken with Santa; underwater at the Rancho Cucamonga store. This year we have teamed up with The US Marine Corp and Toys for Tots. This is a great event and needs your support. Please support us on Saturday by bringing a toy, your swimsuit, and a towel and have your picture taken with Santa. The Santa Ana winds are blowing and bringing mixed emotions. I like them because it makes the surf die down and brings in clean water, meaning great beach conditions. The sad part is it brings dangerous fire conditions as we all just witnessed. My deepest regrets to any that suffered through this latest group of fires. This is my favorite time of the year with Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. The time flies by so fast. Sometimes is becomes three four day weekends. Many times it is easier to think about the bad things around us but when you look at other places in this world it is hard to not be thankful for what we have. We are in a country where we are free to pursue our dreams. I am thankful I have a roof over my head, a car to get me where I want to go, a job I enjoy going to every day, time to go SCUBA diving, and a wonderful wife and daughter. Emergency Ascend To:  Dive Site Map     Join the Club The SCDCIE meets the first Tuesday of the month. Click here for the location of the next club meeting. The Feeding Frenzy/ Social Hour starts at 6:00 p.m. with the meeting starting at 7:00 p.m. Members receive 10 free air fills each year  and 2 free air fills from  4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on club meeting night.  There is a 10% discount on non-sale dive gear, rental gear, repair (parts & labor), air fill cards, classes (except basic OW, Divemaster, A.I. and Instructor) and 10% off most charter boats. All this plus guest speakers, club dive events and a monthly newsletter all for just $25.00 for the year, plus $10.00 one time application fee.  The Family rate is $50.00/couple, plus $10.00 one time application fee, and additional family members 18 years and older are $25.00/additional family member and those under the age of 18 are $10.00/child (Associate Member). If you want  to renew your membership or join the club by mail, because your unable to attend a club meeting or event, please download and print the SCDCIE Membership Application and Statement of Risk and Release of Liability Forms below.  Please fill them out (per the instructions), send the forms with a check or money order (no cash please) to the mailing address on the Membership Application Form. Individual Membership in the SCDCIE: You must complete a SCDCIE Membership Application and Statement of Risk and Release of Liability Form. Family Membership in the SCDCIE: Only one (1) Membership Application is needed per family.  There are spaces provided at the bottom of the application for additional family members.  EACH FAMILY MEMBER MUST FILL OUT THEIR OWN Statement of Risk and Release of Liability Form and include it with the Family Membership Application.  Family Members under the age of 18 must have their parent or legal guardian sign the bottom of the Statement of Risk and Release of Liability Forms. Each Family Member will receive their own SCDCIE Membership/Air fill Card.
